Sales and Marketing Associate

Triton Algae Innovations is seeking a motivated, creative, and skilled Sales & Marketing professional to join our growing company. This position will be responsible for overall marketing and sales strategy and execution, including product launches, social media, web, and print campaigns. It will develop pricing and sales strategies with the intent of maximizing profitability and growing market share, to achieve quarterly and annual goals, and help shape the future of the company. This position will report directly to the CEO of the company. Title and salary to be commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities - will include (but not be limited to):

• Develop and implement effective sales & marketing strategies and practices specifically designed to advance company goals in the future food market space.

• Oversee both day-by-day sales and longer-term forecasting to better assess and understand current market environments, related trends, opportunities & threats.

• Work collaboratively with company management team to continually assess and refine marketing techniques, and creatively enhance market/customer reach.

• Identify and present opportunities to increase profitability and brand recognition.

• Own the ultimate responsibility for meeting or exceeding product sales benchmarks.

Job Requirements and Qualifications – the ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, sales, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with demonstrated success in launching new consumer-facing food products.

• Experience in the plant-based/future food space.

• Solid understanding of current sales & marketing strategies, materials, and channels.

• Ability to prepare and present quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects.

• Strong analytical, financial, or pricing skills.

• Strong leadership, planning, and execution skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to build, manage and lead a sales team
